Waist-to-Hip & Waist-to-Height

A more useful predictor of metabolic risk than BMI alone.

Waist-to-hip & waist-to-height

Better metabolic-risk predictors than BMI alone, especially for South Asians.

Measure waist at the level of the navel and hip at the widest point of the buttocks. Waist-to-height ratio above 0.5 is a strong signal of cardiometabolic risk regardless of BMI.

A tool is a starting point, not a diagnosis.

However your numbers come out, this is information — not a prescription. Bring your result to a consultation, and we'll put it in context with your history, labs, and what you actually feel.

A clear plan starts with a careful conversation.

If something feels off — pain, reflux, fatigue, jaundice, weight change — don't wait it out alone. Book a consultation and let's understand it together.
